SUMMARY Administration of US business unit hourly and salaried payrolls. Process and maintain payroll records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Update JD Edwards payroll system with employee changes ? Evaluate and update employee master file according to court documents for deductions ? Calculate back pay amounts and enter into the payroll system ? Calculate gross-up amounts and enter into the payroll system ? Enter new hire information into system (deposit information, W4, etc.) ? Enter termination payout hours / dollars into the PR system and commit for review of deductions and taxes ? Review all documented employee changes during pre-payroll ? Process Payroll ? Upload ACH files to bank for disbursements ? Audit pay rate change history for authorizations ? Audit/reconcile payrolls for accuracy and reasonableness. ? Calculate and verify federal taxable wages after pre-payroll is complete and reconcile. ? Process journal entries and review for accuracy ? Process positive pay updates to the bank ? Calculate special payments as requested (bonus, stock, etc.) ? Process and communicate reports requested by business units ? Respond to employees regarding discrepancies and questions ? Work with state and federal and third party agencies related to payroll deductions ? Assist with system testing during conversions, system updates and process changes ? Reconcile & transmit all third party files (Fidelity, Doculivery, Child Support Etc.) ? Participate in special projects such as required updates and conversions ? Perform additional tasks as assigned ? Work with teams on current system upgrades, updates, and conversions BASIC QUALIFICATIONS ? 3 plus years related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ? Associate?s degree ? CPP certification ? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ? Experience with Kronos timekeeping system and or in house payroll processing software ? Experience with Workday ? Must be extremely detail-oriented and accurate ? Knowledge of payroll compliance and taxation regulations ? Project management and or leadership experience ? FPC certification
